Dear Prospective Member,

We are so pleased you are considering membership in the Temple of Israel. We are extremely proud of our Rabbi, congregational family, and facility.

Temple of Israel is conveniently located off Haywood Road. You are welcome to join us at Shabbat services any Friday night to meet Rabbi Sam Rose and our congregants. Shabbat Services begin at 7:00 PM.

Our religious school offers a program of instruction beginning in pre-school continuing through bar/bat mitzvah and Confirmation (10th grade). The Temple also provides numerous activities for all ages including Chai Mitzvah Torah Study, Sisterhood, Music on Sunday concert series, Men’s Club Breakfast (BABS), and Adult Education.

Temple of Israel is the largest and most active congregation in the Upstate. Whether you are looking for a place to worship, learn or come together socially, we hope you will seriously consider becoming part of our warm and welcoming family.
