Amy Wilson King
Bookkeeper
Amy graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Corporate Finance and began her career working for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta and the Office of Thrift Supervision where she was a federal thrift regulator responsible for risk-based examinations of federal savings and loans throughout the east coast.
After Amy and her husband, Jamey, moved to Greenville, she worked with Elliott Davis performing various bank internal audit engagements. Amy has worked at the Temple since December 2016. Amy and Jamey have two children, Ginny, and Jake. She enjoys spending time outdoors including hiking, walking with her dog, flat-water paddling, and gardening.

Kym Klapperich
Director of Education TOI Religious School
Kym has been Director of Education at the Temple of Israel since 2011 and a Temple of Israel member since 2007. She has worked in the field of education for over 20 years as a teacher, curriculum coordinator and director. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received her Masters Degree in Education from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont. Kym grew up with a strong background in Reform Judaism. She studied and was a Bat Mitzvah at a Reform congregation in the Chicago suburbs, spent her summers going to OSRUI URJ Camp on Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and spent a NFTY Summer in Israel as a teenager. After graduating from college, Kym spent a year as an OTZMA volunteer in Israel and worked as a NFTY tour guide in Israel.
Kym has been living in the Upstate since 1997 with her husband, Mark, and her two children, Jasmine and Alex. She loves world travel, working with horses, and spending time in the mountains and at the beach with her family. She also stays busy at home with the family’s two dogs, cat, horse, and pet corn snake.

Custodian
Lloyd was born in Sumter, SC. A graduate of USC, Lloyd and his wife, Susan, have 2 daughters, Kacy and Leslie and 3 granddaughters. Lloyd has been a part of our Temple staff for over 20 years!
