Each year during the Days of Awe, families bring non-perishible foods to be donated to the United Ministries Food Bank. Our contributions are greatly appreciated, especially because this time of year was historically slow for donations.

 Each year we participate as a group in the United Ministries Walk for the Homeless. This is not just a walk fundraiser, it's an educational tour, too. We travel the same route (approximately 4 miles) that our homeless and less fortunate neighbors take when seeking assistance from human services agencies. We begin and end at Fluor Field (Greenville Drive Stadium) at the Field Street entrance. The Walk begins at 2:00 pm, but we recommend you arrive by 1:30 pm to check in.
